No season 6 for the new Dynasty series, canceled

The current season 5 is not yet fully filmed, which leaves hope for a real end.

Broadcast in France on Netflix, the reboot of Dynasty will end. The new series has just been canceled in the USA by the American chain CW, in the takeover phase. It should be noted that the US audiences for season 5, currently in progress, were very bad, since Dynasty is the channel’s least-watched program.

It will be remembered that the original series had held outright 9 seasons from 1981 to 1989, followed by two spin-offs in the 1990s.

Nevertheless, Dynasty isn’t over yet: actress Elizabeth Gillies announces on Instagram that she “save (his) farewell” for later, as the team still has six episodes to film in Season 5, which means the production still has a chance to do a proper ending.

The reboot of 4400 will not have this chance: also canceled by CW after only 1 season, its last episode was already broadcast on February 14th.
