After a film directly released on Netflix with us (Annihilation) and an excellent series on Silicon Valley developers (Devs), Alex Garland will be back in French theaters on June 8 with Men. And that’s not all. The new feature film by the English filmmaker has been selected by Cannes festivalwhere it will be presented in a special screening at the Directors’ Fortnight.
In Men, Garland this time abandons pure SF to sign a horror film in the form of a feminist tale in which Jessie Buckley, gone green in the countryside, finds herself confronted with toxic masculinity, embodied by Rory Kinnear.
