Dark Alliance II will also return to modern consoles and PC this summer.

While we wait until 2023 to discover the final version of Baldur’s Gate III, Black Isle Studios and Interplay Entertainment intend to surf on our nostalgia. After the release of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance first of the name on current consoles a year ago, it’s the turn of its sequel, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance IIto return with a new version, as had already been announced earlier in the year.

The cult hack’n slash returns with a remaster

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II was originally released on PlayStation 2 and the first Xbox 18 years ago, in January 2004 (and yes, we are old). This episode goes back to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch with an upgraded version to better suit the standards of our time.

We will therefore find some visual improvements, with 4K for the platforms that can display it (even if it is not very visible on this trailer), while the local cooperative game mode will also be present.

No precise date has been announced for the moment concerning this imitation remaster, but it should be out in the summer.
