Daredevil back! A new series is preparing for Disney +



Screenwriters have been hired by the platform to write what will certainly be a sequel to Netflix’s Marvel series.

We saw it coming, when Disney + recovered the Marvel series from Netflix. A sequel of Daredevil is in the pipes, bound for the platform with the big ears, advance Variety todaystating that screenwriters have already been chosen.

Matt Corman and Chris Ord will handle writing and executive produce. Note that they absolutely did not participate in the series Daredevil from Netflix, created by Drew Goddard and covered by Steven S. DeKnight. Corman and Ord are the creators of the spy series Covert Affairs with Piper Perabo.

We don’t know any more at this time. What form will this comeback take? Daredevil ? New Serie ? New season ? In any case, we assume that it will be a direct sequel to the Daredevil from Netflix, with Charlie Cox in the title role, he who has already returned to play Matt Murdock in the MCU, on the occasion of No Way Home. It could also be that Vincent D’Onofrio resurrects Wilson Fisk, alias Kingpin, again after his remarkable passage in Hawkeye.

For the time being, Marvel has not yet officially announced anything.

let’s remember that Daredevil was discontinued in 2018, along with all of Netflix’s Marvel series, due to the launch of Disney+.
