The feature film of Cameron took longer than expected before having an official release date. Jack Sully and the Na’vi back in new images from Avatar 2

Cameron’s perfectionism drove him, as explained Collider, to create a new technique for capturing images underwater. He explains : ” The problem with water is not the submerged part, but the interface between air and water, which forms a moving mirror. It mirrors all points and markers, and creates a bunch of fake markers. It’s a bit like a fighter jet dropping a bunch of chaff to confuse a missile’s radar system. This creates thousands of false targets, so we had to find a way around this problem, which we did. In fact, when you add water to a problem, it becomes ten times harder. So we put a lot of power, innovation, imagination and new technologies into this problem, and it took us about a year and a half to figure out how to solve it. »

On the bill, in addition to Worthington and Saldana, we find Sigourney Weaver (Ghostbusters), Stephen Lang (The fugitive) and John Ribisi of the first opus, but also Joel David Moore (hatchet), Cliff Curtis (fear the walking dead) who plays Tonowari and Oona Chaplin (Realive) as Varang.
