Annecy 2022: Le Petit Nicolas leaves with the Cristal for feature film (complete awards)

The true/false biopic of Sempé and Goscinny is the big winner of the festival.

There will have been no great surprise: if it were whispered (very gently) thatForbidden to dogs and Italianss by Alain Ughetto could leave the Annecy International Animation Film Festival with the prestigious Cristal for feature films, it’s finally Le Petit Nicolas – What are we waiting for to be happy ? who won it tonight at the closing ceremony. A strange object, to be classified somewhere between an animated biopic by Jean-Jacques Sempé and René Goscinny and a pure adaptation of the adventures of Petit Nicolas, the film by Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoubre had largely federated during its screenings.

Forbidden to dogs and Italiansits all the same received the jury prize and that of the Gan Foundation for dissemination. My Love Affair with Marriage by Signe Baumane and Blind willows, sleeping woman were entitled to the Mentions of the jury.

As for the Contrechamp selection, the main prize goes to Ikuta no Kita (Plethora of norths), whereas Chun Tae-il: A Flame That Lives On receives the mention of the Contrechamp jury.
